Emily is the Marketing Intern at Celadon Books. She supports the marketing team by assisting with campaigns, brainstorming creative strategies, and helping to connect readers with Celadon's compelling fiction and nonfiction titles.
With a diverse background spanning theatre directing, management, fitness coaching, sales, and fitness branding -- Emily brings a unique blend of creativity, humor, and strategic thinking to her work. She holds a BA in Theatre Directing and Philosophy from Fordham University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Book Publishing at NYU, specializing in marketing.
Emily is thrilled to craft innovative ways to inspire others to fall in love with reading. She is particularly passionate about mental health, LGBTQ+ rights and representation, and the overall power of storytelling. Outside of her work, she enjoys devouring memoirs and horror/suspense fiction, lifting weights, admiring fluffy dogs on the streets, and binge-watching character-based TV like "Yellowjackets," "Severance," and "GLOW."
