Celadon Books is proud to announce the acquisition of the novel SUNNY SIDE UP by Katie Sturino, founder and CEO of Megababe Beauty, author of BODY TALK, entrepreneur, body acceptance advocate, and influencer. SUNNY SIDE UP is a roman a clef drawing on the author's experience as a plus-sized woman, female founder, and body acceptance icon, about a young divorcee who regains control of her career and love life after her failed marriage leaves her questioning who she is and who she's meant to be with.
"I've followed Katie Sturino on social media for a long while, and have always adored her charming, relatable, and engaging voice," said Associate Editor Randi Kramer, who acquired the book. "When I heard she wrote a novel based on her own experiences in life and love, I was thrilled. Kramer acquired SUNNY SIDE UP in a pre-empt from Alyssa Reuben at William Morris Endeavor (NA).
