Announcing our next Read Together Initiative pick: Mercury by critically acclaimed author Amy Jo Burns!
In our Read Together Initiative, Celadon Books forms small reading groups to read and discuss our books together on social media (Instagram or TikTok). Sign up below to be partnered with fellow Celadon Readers. Then, we will send you an email with your reading partners’ social handles and mail you an advanced copy of Amy Jo Burns’ new novel, Mercury. You will contact each other to read the book and discuss it together.
Here is the timeline for the program:
October 2023: Sign up to be included in this cycle. Deadline: October 5. You will receive your partner assignments, ARCs, posting guide, and a discussion guide. Each Read Together group will consist of at least 5 people.
November 1, 2023: Read Mercury with your partners! Your group can set the pace for reading together, but please finish the book and discuss it by the end of the month.
December 2023: Join Amy Jo Burns and other Read Together Initiative participants for an exclusive virtual discussion of Mercury!
Note: You must be a registered Celadon Reader to fill out this form. It is not a general galley-request form. Celadon Readers will have other opportunities to receive an ARC of Mercury, so only sign up if you wish to read the book with a group. If you sign up and do not participate, we will not be able to invite you to join future cycles. Thank you.

By signing up for the Mercury Read Together Initiative, you agree to contact your assigned reading partner, and read and post about Mercury on Instagram or TikTok.
Participants must be opt-ed into the Celadon Reader Program (and can opt out at any time by emailing reader@celadonbooks.com).
Celadon Books agrees to send all participants who meet the requirements above one galley of Mercury by Amy Jo Burns.
Once Celadon Books makes the pairing, Celadon Books will only share the Instagram or TikTok handle of the “reading partner” with each person in the respective pairing, and no other personal information will be shared. Celadon Books is not responsible for any additional information that participants choose to share privately with their “reading partner.” This includes sharing phone numbers, addresses, personal email, full name, school or work information, any personally identifiable information, or other information not required for participation.
