Alex Cruz-Jimenez (she/her) is a Marketing Manager at Celadon Books, a division of Macmillan.
She previously worked at Penguin Random House, spending 5 years at the Viking Books, Penguin Books, Pamela Dorman Books, The Open Field, and Penguin Life imprints. She got her start in publishing interning at HarperCollins' William Morrow and Dey Street imprints.
Alex was born and raised in Queens. She received her Associate's Degree from Bard High School Early College Queens, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Binghamton University. In her free time she likes to read, travel, explore New York City, and run her Bookstagram and BookTok accounts @alex.gets.lit.
