Margaux Kanamori (she/her) is an Editorial Assistant at Celadon Books, assisting President and Publisher Deb Futter.
Margaux is from Brookline, Massachusetts. She graduated from Williams College in December 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Psychology, on the creative writing track. She previously held internships at Aevitas Creative Management, Scribner Books, Hachette Book Group, and We Need Diverse Books.
Margaux loves character-driven novels with a literary bent, family and relationship sagas, and stories with a strange or speculative element. Some of her favorite non-Celadon titles are The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, The Half Moon by Mary Beth Keane, Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng, Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro, Circe by Madeline Miller, and Raft of Stars by Andrew Graff.
Outside of her job, Margaux enjoys singing and playing guitar, going on walks to romanticize the city, and watching her favorite movies on repeat.
