Margaux Kanamori (she/her) is an Editorial Assistant at Celadon Books, assisting President and Publisher Deb Futter.

Margaux is from Brookline, Massachusetts and graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Psychology. She previously held internships at Aevitas Creative Management, Scribner Books, Hachette Book Group, and We Need Diverse Books.

Margaux is looking for literary and upmarket novels with bold hooks and voices to draw her in; distinct settings; unique storytelling structures; surprising turns that put characters or their worlds in a new light; and narratives with a dark, strange, or speculative element to be uncovered. She would also love to work on books with AAPI and diverse voices. Some of her favorite titles are Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel, Endling by Maria Reva, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, Trust by Hernan Diaz, The Coin by Yasmin Zaher, Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng, Chemistry by Weike Wang, and Get in Trouble by Kelly Link.
