At Celadon, Hamilton will focus on acquiring and editing non-fiction, with a special focus on politics and history. “This is a unique moment for our country, when understanding how we have gotten to this point has never been more important.,” Hamilton said. “My goal is to find writers who can help us do that as well as produce books that are a joy to read. And there’s no better place to do this than as part of Jamie and Deb’s team; I look forward to working with a wide range of talent at Celadon.”

“We are thrilled that Bill Hamilton will be joining Celadon Books,” Raab and Futter said. “With his remarkable breadth of experience in the top echelons of journalism, and his finger on the pulse of national politics at this crucial moment, we know he is going to add a rich, new dimension to our list.”
