Celadon Books Executive Editor Ryan Doherty acquired the rights to Roland Lazenby’s MAGIC JOHNSON: THE LIFE, in a two-book deal by Peter McGuigan at Foundry Literary + Media. Johnson, an NBA hall-of-famer, is part-owner of the LA Dodgers, the LA Lakers’ president of basketball operations, CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprises, and chairman and CEO of the Magic Johnson Foundation. Author Roland Lazenby also wrote MICHAEL JORDAN: THE LIFE.
