Celadon Books is proud to announce the acquisition of the novel SIKE by Fred Lunzer. For fans of Sally Rooney and Ben Lerner, SIKE is a modern love story set in London and Tokyo about a rap lyricist and a venture capitalist navigating a relationship that their AI psychologist called Sike has failed to fix.
Of the acquisition, Ryan Doherty, VP, Editorial Director, says: "SIKE is a refreshing love story, set in our modern times but with technology that feels real and inevitable. But much like the film HER, the book is not about AI, but rather about human, emotional connection."
Doherty acquired the book at auction from Douglas Stewart at Sterling Lord Literistic (NA).
