Celadon Books Acquires 'SAOIRSE' by Charleen Hurtubise

Celadon Books is proud to announce the acquisition of SAOIRSE, a new novel by Dublin-based author Charleen Hurtubise.

For readers of Colm Tóibín and Claire Keegan, SAOIRSE is a powerful, suspenseful novel set between the U.S. and Ireland about a woman who runs from her traumatic past and the secrets she carries to survive.

"Set in the wilds of Ireland, SAOIRSE is about reinvention," says Celadon President and Publisher Deb Futter. "Saoirse is an artist living with her husband and two children. But when she wins an award, her past comes back to expose her. It’s a propulsive and thought provoking book about identity…and murder."

Futter acquired novel from Grainne Fox at UTA. SAOIRSE is scheduled to be published in February 2026.

Two compact discs (CDs) with shiny, reflective surfaces are overlapping each other on a white background. The discs display a spectrum of colors due to the light reflection, creating a rainbow-like effect.
